Johanna Archbold

Johanna Archbold holds a double honours B.A. in History and Irish from Trinity College, Dublin, and earned her Ph.D. at the University's Centre for Irish-Scottish and Comparative Studies in 2007. Her doctoral research focused on the development of Irish periodical print culture in the Atlantic World in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. She is currently a postdoctral fellow for the Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin.

Johanna co-edited Beyond the Anchoring Grounds: More Cross-currents in Irish and Scottish Studies (Belfast: 2006) and has several articles published and forthcoming on aspects of Irish and Atlantic print culture in the long eighteenth-century. She is coordinator of the Book History Research Network .
